Okay, we are stumped as to whether or not to get one, if we do which one.  Yes we d like one, but . . .
So if you have one, please let me know which one and if you want to, post why you chose the one you have.  Or if you don t have one and one of the reason fits . . .

oh, and I haven t voted yet myself cuz I am stumped.

whippetwrunI like the AAR from Coleman, but the installation instructions were the pits.  I don t know who wrote them, but they were awful.

whippetwrunjust got a AAR, haven t tried it out in the camping mode yet, just set it up in the backyard. It seemed pretty simple but I m not crazy about the many gaps at the edges. I was hoping to avoid the nasty bugs. I ll guess we ll see when we try it out for real. (It was also bought with the ideal of its use as a private area for the porti-potty that was just purchased too)

whippetwrunThe AAR from the maker of our popup happens to be the Carefree Awning and AAR

whippetwrunWe bought an AAR for a 2001 Bayside from someone on the old PUT boards. We put it up when we got it and it went up fine, but haven t used it camping yet. It s one of the ones with 3 seperate panels.

whippetwrunWe were given the screen room by Coleman when we bought the PU.  When it is buggy, we use (usually over DH s protest) because he doesn t like having to zip it to get in and out.  We also have a seperate screen room by Wenzel which we also use.  It is much bigger and more pleasant to use.  We find most of the campgrounds we have been to have room for both.

whippetwrunWe have the Coleman screen room.  It is a PITA.  We only use it when there are more bugs than we can stand.

whippetwrunUp until now we did not have either.  Aside from the high cost of the Coleman AAR and Screen room, I also don t like the way it blocks off view from inside the camper.  I like to have the windows open and look out to see what the kids are doing.  We also seldom camp more than 2 or 3 nights and it almost doesn t seem worth all the work to put them up.  However, since it looks like the mosquitos are going to be bad this year, and last year my kids kept freaking out from all the bees around the picnic table, we are going to try a 12 x 14 screen gazebo over the picnic table.  We ll see how it goes.

whippetwrunwe have a seperate one we use over the picnic table, works great keeping the bees and flies away. also perfect for parking the kids bikes, camp chairs etc. I hate having a messy site.

whippetwrunHave a screen room from a maker other then Colman.  Don t use it often but it is handy when needed.

whippetwrunHave the AAR from Coleman, bought after we purchased our used Coleman PU.   It cost a fortune, and at first we weren t sure if we liked it or not.  (during set up we hate it)  But, after using it a few times we realized that  unless it s just a 2-3 day campout, we ll probably always use it.    It extends the size of the camper, provides a place to get out of weather and away from bugs, and gives more privacy at night.
