 well, some of you must remember 3-2-GO. altho she decided not to follow to the new boards, i have made very good cyber friends with her. our friendship started on the old board, and has continued via i.m.ing and glpuc. after *talking* to her for a very long time, we finally did it! she and her family came down to coon creek last friday and camped the weekend with us! oh what a great time we had! it was everything i had hoped it would be, with great weather until sunday which unfortunately had us popping down in the rain. but we both figured it was well worth it! [;)] if anyone here is the least bit reluctant to meet up with anyone on the board, i for one can highly recommend it! we greeted them with ribeyes and morels, and they treated us saturday to the most delicious brats we`ve had, plus taters and a great broccoli salad which i believe is on the recipe forum. man, that was some good eating there! crappie were biting real good til the rain, then shut down.[:(] but we did manage to bring home 22 and had fish for supper on sunday after popping back up to dry out. just wanted you all to know the Browns and the Whites are planning on making it an annual thing at cc, and hope to meet up again this summer, altho next time we will " split the difference"  as far as travel goes. they had to travel 4 1/2 hrs, and next time we are thinking of moraine view s.p. can`t wait !!!

 cooncreekersOur Morel season is soon to come. With our luck it ll be when we are going south and we ll miss  em this year.
 I dry some and use them for the winter ,if we are lucky eonugh to find that many.
