Our hybrid has a handy-dandy medicine cabinet in the privy however the contents fall out when we open the mirror door after travelling.  I plan to staple some fabric elasic half way up the shelfs to elminate this.

Are there any other tips or products and anything that can help with small storage space and keeping things when we put them?

fivegonefishingwhat I used to do for the medicine cabinet is double sided velcro.  I cut a small piece ( it s the sticky type) and stuck a small piece on the inside ends of each shelf at about the middle of each shelf, I then cut a piece long enough for fit across from side to side TIGHTLY of each shelf, use the other piece of the velcro to go across and it holds everything in place nicely, if/when you need to use something you can just remove the velcro strip, or take them off when you unpack upon arrival and keep them off till you leave, we found we just kept them on and undid them as we needed something so we didn t forgot to put them back up when leaving.

fivegonefishingTammy I am looking to do the same thing.  Since the cabinet mounts on the wall I was going to take it off so I could get a good staple or screw w/strap over the elastic.

fivegonefishingah-HA!  So we re not the only ones!!

After one rather bumpy trip (the DH didn t tighten the WDH enough), I opened the bathroom door to find all of the contents of the cabinet in the sink or on the floor!  LOL!  My mind started going then as well.

I ve thought about drilling little holes on each side and getting really small bungee cords.  I think I even have a few.  The bungees are about 1/4"  thick or maybe even less.  I think we got them in one of the bungee packs you buy at Home Depot or Sam s club.  Not sure where/when we got them though.

This is on my list of things to do...

campingboatersthat is what we did, we made tiny holes on the inside of the cabinet walls, and use the very thin bungees that come in the multi pack of bungees it works just great!

fivegonefishingHmmm, the little bungee s sound like a good idea! And calling it a privy is pretty accurate considering how small it is.
