I was at the JC Penney Outlet at Franklin Mills (Philadelphia) yesterday. My Doctor told me to walk. the weather is so nasty here, I have been circulating the malls in the region.

On the clearance rack were several thermal french press cofeemakers, the price was $17.99, marked down to $9.99 and a 10% markdown on top of that. I bought one for me. $9.65 including tax was the total.

Got to thinking about it, and I went back today, walking the whole outlet mall with my middle son, and bought one for the auction at the rally.

They also had 9 volt coffee mugs for $9.99

MMMMM...just thought I d try it out...no grounds in my coffee, a little strong for me, but I followed the directions so I can adjust the coffee to taste next time. Well worth the $9.65. No glass to break. Makes 8 cups. Well worth it at the JC Penneys regular catalogue price.

SheBantamYou will enjoy the French press.  We put one in our camper for when we go to campgrounds without hookups.  It makes much better (and quicker) coffee than our perculator.
