Sorry for the spelling on the original title, Dagone light night posts!!!

Once again I take keyboard in paw, (I don t type very well) to ask for help at the Forum.
Following our last set of adventures, we left the Popup Popped Up so to speak. We were in the process of remodeling the house and decided that the Popup would help for the storage needed during the carpet installation. Well the carpet was a couple of weeks late and in the ensuing aftermath of trying to relocate all the furnishings, the Popup stayed popped up for a couple of months. This past weekend it was time to wash off the unbelieveable amount of grime that had accumulated during the previuos 6-8 weeks.
The scrub down went well and the exterior is again white and green, however, the interior now has a rust type looking stain above and below the lower horizontal seam. It appears that the seam allowed water and some dirt to seep thru, we have tried to gently scrub the soiled area without any success. Several different combinations of cleaners were tried, Hydrogen Peroxide, mild laundry soap and a diluted solution of X-14, each of which appeared to remove the stain until it had dried. Upon drying, the stain reappears and does not seam to diminish. Has anyone experienced this with their Popup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Thanks to all who helped with the former Battery Porblem. I isolated the terminals and purchased a new charger, all has been well.

cowboyCould this stain be pollen?  Pollen often leaves a rusty or yellowish stain.  I have found that Scrub Free Mildew Stain Remover does a great job on most stains on canvas--including pollen.

The other possibility, probably remote, is that you have some rust or iron oxide in your water and that as you rinse after cleaning, the water is collecting along the seam and staining the material.  Or it could be tanic acid from leaves that decomposed on the roof of the camper while it was set up.  Again, if it rained the rainwater may have collected in the seams.  Tanic acid would make a pale tea-colored stain.  You might check some helpful household hints websites for hints on removing tea or coffee stains and try that.  By the way, the old standby for washing linen tableclothes clean was Oxydol detergent. I think you can still buy it.  Have you tried Oxyclean?

cowboyYep, I tried oxyclean and a host of other solutions, the stains only appeared after washing the exterior. It appears that the water flow thru the seams allowed an intrusion of something that resulted in staining the interior fabric. We have resealed the seams with a water based sealant and am hoping this will prevent further damage.
The Popup has been washed several times before without any damage, could this be a result of pressure and excessive grime being forced thru the seam material?
 Any thoughts on a fix?

 Thanks, and happy camping
