my4cutiesColeman owners don t need to worry about mildew. Sunbrella tenting cannot mildew. However, the mildew will grow on dirt. So, when closing up a wet Coleman, wipe everything off with a towel to get that dirt off! Ours is constantly put in the storage area wet. Nothing I can do about it raining every time we go out. And, the storage area is over 40 miles away & I can t get back up there to " air it out"  during the week. It s one of the many reasons we bought a Coleman.

Other trailers use tenting material that does mildew and, unfortunately for my4cuties, Starcraft is one of them. I would check with Starcraft to see what they recommend be used to remove the mildew and what re-waterproofing products should be used to fix the leaks. The manufacturers all use different tenting materials and there s no " one fits all"  solution to either problem. WARNING!! Using the wrong product can permanently damage your tenting material!
