We re about 6 years away from actually having that option.  We plan to get a 5th wheel and F250 diesel and spend about every other month out on the road.  North in the summer, south in the winter.  The time in between will be visiting relatives or taking golf bets from my buddies.

I would love to go all year!  As long as we could live in something like what Marcy picked out and $$$ wasn t an option!  If DH had a job that would let us, I d leave tomorrow - kids and all!  Oh well, that s what retirement is for!  Dream big!  We ll come back  in the summer to visit the kids and grandkids, maybe take one of them with us on a short trip or something to develop better realtionships with them!  And see everything in the US and Canada there is to see! []

 If that ever did become a reality the house would have to sell. (hence the home on wheels)
 Between the 5er and the truck we liked to pull it it came to a mere $120,00  taxes not included[]

Want to thank every one who took part in this poll.  Had planned from the beginning to close it after about two weeks.
 
 Must say that results were about as I thought they would be.  Top two answers were Selection #1, " Jump on it madly..."  with 12 votes and Selection #5, " 30 days..."  with 10 votes.  The rest fell in a good bit lower but just about as I felt they should/would.
