3 1/2 lb sirloin or rump roast

Marinate in 1/3 cup soy sauce overnight.

In sprayed Crockpot, add 1 can beef broth, 4 cups water and 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix. Stir and add sirloin roast and soy sauce.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours

Meat should fall apart.

Cut open some French or Baguette bread, layer with some swiss cheese, add shredded meat and use the broth to dip the sandwich in.

Or it's great on mashed potatoes.

Enjoy! :)

This sounds really good, I knew when I saw it that it would be.   You always come up with some very delicious recipes.

In sprayed Crockpot, not sure what this means... Sounds good. Just Don't add any salt! :p

Dw made this last night. Pretty darn good stuff, Even my SIL liked it! He's pretty picky. Now I have to send this to some other people I know.

Thanks!

You are very welcome.  We love it as well.  It's going to be one that I make camping as well.  Easy and "some" leftovers.  Which makes great sandwiches for the next day! :)

I may try it with some mushrooms added to it next time and I'll layer it with more swiss cheese!  I'll let ya know how the mushrooms do with it.

I tried this earlier this week and loved it.  When I came home from, I cut a piece of the roast off and took a bite.  It was okay but not what I expected.  Then I cut another piece off and dipped it in the au jus.  Oh man what a difference.

Good Stuff :)

Yup, the roast by itself (without the au jus) is like a plain ole roast....but then you dip it in the au jus.....WOW....yum! :)
