About 80 miles south of Memphis, Cossar State Park is located 5 miles east of I-55 near Oakland, Mississippi. The park is situated on a pine covered peninsula in Enid Reservoir. You ll think you re in Colorado. The campground has 84 paved camping pads with water, electricity, concrete fire ring and picnic table. Also 13 cabins, group camping, swimming pool, nature trail, visitors center, miniature golf. Last but not least is a restaurant featuring a catfish buffet that is really GOOD! Rangers will sell you a load of firewood for $5.00 and deliver it to your campsite. A really nice, comfortable place to spend some time.

Thanks Widewader, this is exactly what I m looking for!  We re going to Branson, the Mufreesboro, AR and then planned on heading up towards Memphis on the way home and the girls have never been to MS.  I was looking at the MS State Park website yesterday but it s hard to pick without any info.
 
 Sounds like this is perfect!  I m headed back to that state park website!
