I m looking for a CG at Lake Norman NC that has full hookups and a swimming pool.  If you have any information about it, please pass it along.

 Thanks[:)]

NCSunshineThere are two campgrounds with full hook up on Lake Norman, Cross Country Campground & Wildlife Woods Campground.  I have stayed twice at Cross Country last year with my son & we enjoyed it.  It has a nice pool & fising pond.  It is not on the lake, just a very short drive from it.  Wildlife Woods is on the lake, with a beach acess.  It has been a long time since I camped there (tent camped as a child), but it is a pretty place with lots of wooded lots.  Both campgrounds have mostly seasonal sites with big rv s.  At Cross Country, we camped in a loop that did not have any seasonal sites, close to the bath house & pool.  The sites had power & water, but no sewer.  They probally have true full hook-up sites, but we stayed at the no sewer sites since we were only in for a quick weekend stay.

My favorite Lake Norman campground is the Lake Norman State Park.  The sites are HUGE and very wooded.  Each has a picnic pad & tent pad that was a great place for my son to play.  No hook ups, but they have a newly remolded bath house.  They also have a huge beach with rental boats.  We stayed there in May & had a great time.

Another option is the campground at Paramount Carowinds.  I have not stayed there, but they have full hookups, pool, & next to the theme park.  It is about 30-45min south of Lake Norman.

They have a campground at Lowes Motor Speedway, but it is little more than a huge open parking lot.  Only would camp if in a big RV during race weeks.

I hope you have great time!  Please let me know if I can get more info for you.

NCSunshineThank you so much for your information.  I had looked and looked but without knowing what little town they would be in it was impossible.  But they turn out to be closer than I thought.

 Thank you again.
