I am curious as to how you have added a water heater, what kind, where did you put it, and what mods where done to the faucet/spicket thing?

This mod for us is probably a year or two away...since i think we may be getting an ac...but i like to start getting info early on so i can think and plan it.

Jo AnnMy PU came with hot water, so I can t help you with how to add, but I know with how water you will need an electric water pump and a mixer faucet.

Jo Ann

Jo Annyeha...our sink has the electric faucet now...but of course its just for cold water.

i know someone got one and put it in their front storage compartment...which makes sense to me.  its really not a necessity, but what the heck...i wouldn t have to heat water anymore...lol

Jo AnnIf you check out the link at my signature line, you ll see how I added a water heater.
I removed the original faucet and replaced it with a regular bathroom style one.
We had removed the freshwater holding tank a while back, so I installed a second city water inlet. It s pretty simple,  cause we don t camp w/o hook ups.

Jo Annwell h*ll...that never occured to me...not installing it...just setting it up...hmmm and its better there than in the front storage bay...saved a pix to show the DH.

we really don t need it...but it would be nice to have...[:)]

Jo AnnI won t go into great detail here, but have you considered an instant water heater? It fits under the sink, is pretty small and fairly easy to hook up. It only comes on when you want hot water. This would be a good solution if you don t need a lot of hot water. Not sure if they produce enough for a shower.

Jo Anni was looking at one of those instant ones at lowes...would love to have one for the house.
