colenryWelcome back to the nicest campfire around.  I do remember you from the old board.  You will have to fill us in on your camping experiences and your new trailer.

colenryHey, you re back.  Welcome and I do remember you.  Tell us why you didn t like the TT.  Well welcome back from the darkside, anyway.[:)][:)][:)]

colenry

colenryWell... When we bought the tt we were assured that a full size van would pull it. Great.  After doing heavy research, we discovered, it actually COULDN T.  Oops. Well, moral of the story is... Don t trust people who work at a Rv dealership.  Entirely.  After contacting our insurance company, we were informed if we did nt follow the manufacturers tow ratings, and exceded them, we could be held liable, if a accident occured.  To tell the truth here (hate to say this..) we had the Coachmen sitting in our driveway, unused, NOT EVEN DE-WINTERIZED GRRR because we spent months. And months. And more months going back and forth on tow vehicles. Then after spending more time, we looked at each other and said " this is ridiculous!  Before we bought the tt, we were assured by the dealership (several persons of) that "  Oh sure, the tow ratings say you can handle blah, blah, blah."   After months of researching, talking to full time rv ers, etc. We had enough.

So. Big mistake eh?  yes, a fine unit the tt was, but not for us.

birol

colenrySo sorry to hear that you had to get rid of the TT. Never ever believe salespeople, never. They will say anything to make a deal, much like politicians. (I am not trying to start a war, just stating that most of them are this way unfortunately).

I hope you will enjoy your Bayside, it isa  beautiful PU.
