Well folks, we had our maiden voyage last weekend.....took along Grandma, our two dogs and our parrot....

It felt so good to be in a REAL camper again!  The a/c worked perfect.....got us downright chilly in there!  We loved all the features of the Bayside......once we figured out where to light the hot water heater! [:o]  You others may know about this......there is " what looks like"  a pilot lighting area right inside the unit, but actually, you light the unit from the back, right area.....took us about 15 minutes to figure that out!

We really love the build quality of our Coleman and are very pleased with everything....

Also, the two-way radios we bought paid for themelves!  We arrived at the CG after dark, with my Mom and the parrot parked at the bathroom, Cody and the dogs in the van.....couldn t see anything, the CG is full.....I was able to direct Ry in by just talking him into place.....not bad for the first time parking this big thing!  And it only took us one try!

colenryColenry, The W/H can sometimes be a pain in the a*** to light. I have found it works better if you look about 25% and listen about 75%. I hope that makes sense. But you can hear the pilot light start burning easier than see it. Maybe it s an age thing I don t know. I also light the stove burner and let it burn for about 30 seconds first, that seems to help. Glad you had a good trip!

colenryhmmm...lighting the stove first??? We ll have to try that.  It is ALWAYS a pain to get the HWH lit !

Don t use a lighter to light the fridge.  It comes with it s own sparker.
