Ok, I ordered the solar shields from PUT Gizmo s.  I however want more of the clipps that came with the shields.[]  I ve gone to Lowes, and checked the internet with no luck.  These clamps open to about 1/2 inch and are poly coated to protect the fabric.  Anyone know where I can buy any of these?[]

If you can t find the *exact* rubber coated clips at Staples, Kinko s or Wall-Mart, go ahead and buy a bunch of clips without the coating at any office supply store. Then get a can of " tool dip"  (sold as " Plasti-Dip"  at our local auto parts store). Coat the jaws of the clip with this stuff, using another clip to keep them open. You ll get half the bunch done at a time this way. The stuff works great. And while you got the can open, you can do your pliers, wrenches, keys, ends of ropes, fingers, whatever... []

I found those clips at Home depot. Also found the exact same ones that came with the covers at a dollar store.[]

ooooooooooooooooooo  I ve always wondered if that Plasti-dip stuff was any good!  I can see lots of uses for that stuff! []
