RE: Planning Ahead to Spring Break

Yes, I know that school hasn t even started yet (10 days but who s counting[]), and I m already thinking ahead to Spring Break.  We re thinking it might be fun to camp during Spring Break this year - I think it s around March 15 or so.  One reason I m planning early is because it ll make a difference when we winterize the camper this year if we plan on using it in March - we d probably use an air compressor to take care of the water rather than the pink stuff.
 
 My question is this - where is it warm enough to camp & enjoy it at that time of the year?  I m also trying to find someplace that is no more than 2 days drive for us to get to.
 
 Any more specific suggestions of places/campgrounds would be appreciated as well.

We camp for Easter each year and it is in March sometimes.  We head down to southern Maryland along the coast.  Sometimes it is very nice and other times it is pretty cool.  If you are willing to drive 2 days you should be able to go somewhere warm for sure.  Have fun finding a new place to camp.

Although our spring break is later, in mid-April next year, we re planning to return to America Outdoors in Key Largo Florida.  DH is an avid scuba diver and it doesn t get any better than in the Keys.  We ve been there the past two years, in April each trip, and the weather has been wonderful -- sunny skies and temps in the 80 s.
 
 The beaches are gorgeous and the seafood is the best.
