Just curious if we have anyone from KY -- since the Eastern Rally next year maybe in KY, I thought maybe they were interested

    I think they are looking for is campers from the MID South which are the states listed as one of the topics under the campground reviews.

Cincinnati is not part of Covington, and the airport s mailing address is Cincinnati, OH even though it is located about 12 miles south of the Ohio river (in KY).  It s a stupid thing.[&:]

KY does crazy things with places...the Louisville Metro KOA is actually in Clarksville Indiana (stayed there and it is a big parking lot with hookups)...whoda thunk...
 So KY puts up an airport, they won t claim it, so Cincy does[]. Looks like you won!
 
 I can talk like this, I was born in KY (raised in Florida though)
 
 Seriously though, though I have never been to Barren River, I had friends that spent their summer vacation there and at Land Between the Lakes (until they inherited a house boat that was on Potoka Lake in Indiana). They loved the area and I do not thnk that those that can and want to go will not be dissapointed.
 Bowling Green also offers the Corrvette plant...not related to camping, but it is sporty. Nashville is also not too awful far

I ve stayed a night at the Louisville Metro KOA in one of the cabins last year. I was on a motorcycle trip to Kansas City MO. It alomst 2000 miles round trip and if anyone wonders yes my butt was sore.[:@]

We vacation in the Daniel Boone NF every spring for 1-2 weeks.  Nice lots, clean, new restrooms, and in the spring not many people.
 There are wonderful arches you can walk to, great fishing, a really nice place to camp.
