RE: Camping at the Holiday Inn

Well, sorta camping.  At least we got away from the kids and the Mom-in-Law.  
 
 DW and I went to Chicago for the weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary.  Stayed downtown at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza.  
 
 We went up there to go see the Cirque du Soleil show " Varikai" .  It was wonderful.  I bought VIP tickets and we were 4 rows from the front center.  If you ever get a chance to go see a show, I highly recommend it.
 
 The only disapointment was the 3 hour traffic jam - three lanes - 20 miles - bumper to bumper - waiting to cross the Skyway on I90.  Oh well.

Congrats on your 20th -- we just had our 21st in April.
 
 Glad you could get away.  Isnt  it nice.  Soon you ll be lucky like us and they can stay by themselves

I love that term " camping at the Holiday Inn" !!!  On our way to the Rally this year we stopped into a motel and I had to convince DH we weren t " cheating"  by staying there!  I just didn t want to drive all night!  []
