RE: Any race fans going to Bristol?

Took my pop-up over to the campground today. The campground we usually stay in (Earhart) is all first come-first serve, so we wanted to go ahead and get a good site if we could. The campground was supposed to open at 8am today, so I figured if we got there about 11am or so, they d have all the campers who were waiting in line already in place. WRONG!!!  There were still dozens (probably more like a few hundred) campers waiting for sites. We ve had a LOT of rain in this area recently, and some parts of the campground were lakes and swamps instead of campsites! So they were having to work around those.
 
 But we ended up with a nice site next to the creek, about a stone s throw from the track.  Left the pop-up all locked up. (The people in the sites on both sides of us were doing the same.) We ll be headed back over Tuesday evening after I get off work. Four days of racing and camping!!! [][][]
 
 If anyone else is going to Bristol, let me know! Maybe we can get together somewhere.

You been on vacation?  What happen to last weeks picks?  Didn t make any diffrence, my picks would have done better if they just stayed in the motor home[]
