RE: New (to us)pu in the works

Not only do we have a new home here in sunny FL, but it looks as if I have made a deal on an upgrade!  It s an 84 Starcraft!!!  I know what most of you are thinking!!!  " An 84 is an upgrade?!?!"   Well, from a 67, yes it is!
 
 There is nothing really wrong with the 67 Skamper that we have,  I refurbished the WHOLE thing!  New canvas, flooring, cushions, etc.  The only reasons we are looking to upgrade is that the bunk ends are small doubles so DH has to sleep on the dinette (He s 6 5" ), and there is no lift system.  It takes two people to pop up.  I want to be able to take the kids camping alone when the DH can t get time off.
 
 So, I m planning a short trip south to pick up the new baby!  Now I just need to find a good home for the Skamper!  I ll be sad to see her go!  I hope we find somebody who loves her as much as we do! (As well as someone who can appreciate that we just replaced the canvas one year ago at over$600!)  Wish me luck!

Haven t seen it in person, just photos.  Seems like a great deal!  Found it here at PUT classifieds.  
 
 It s not just right next door, so I plan to send a small deposit check, balance due at pick-up.  We will probably go down on a Sat am and spend the neight in that area and head for home the next am.  Make a little trip out of it.  That way if we run into any probs, we will be close by the sellers for help with questions.
 
 It has always been garaged, is in perfect condition... she claims it " still has that new camper smell, believe it or not" .  She also said " mom was a neat freak and even made them always take their shoes off before coming inside and cleaned the whole time they were camping" !   Don t most of us camp to get away from things like cleaning?
