We have the RVQ, however, we have never used it.  Anyone got any opinions on the RVQ?

angelsmom10We use, and like our RVQ.However,I think it would be better if it had a more variable heat control knob rather than the one it has(with discrete settings only for high, medium, low). Also,I feel that it is located a little close to the tent material of our pop up,so I really keep an eye on it while it is being used.

homecrewFOr what it s worth, IMHO the $30 Sunbean grill works as well, and gave me enough money to buy a Weber Smokey Joe for charcoal use.
There s just some times you need that charcoal flavor. The two store in less space that the Grill to Go, or the Road Trip grill.

GDSLTS

homecrewWe have had a Weber Q for about 3 months and have used it multiple times. It is a bit heavy because it is all aluminum with a heavy-duty cast iron grate. It has a large cooking surface which is the main reason for our purchase. We almost always are cooking for at least four adults. The two foldable wing tray tables are great for food prep. It has a large disposable pan underneath to catch drippings. Although it is only 12,000 BTU s, the heavy duty aluminum body holds the heat well and it cooks fine. It has a built-in starter that is very effective. It could also serve as a backyard grill for ther whole family. I would buy one again if something happened to this one.

homecrewI have a special place for both my RVQ and the Grill-2-Go.... on a shelf way in the back of the garage!!! [:o]

I bought the Grill-2-Go a couple years back, but found it too big and too bulky to carry around in the PU, difficult to keep clean, and it did nothing for flavor. Overall my opinion of this grill is.... [: (]

My new Hybrid came with the RVQ grill, which is also a bit big and bulky. But it does attach nicely to the side of the trailer. But there in lies the problem, it splatters grease on the side of the trailer, flames up under the awning, and since it s located right underneath the dinette window you can guess where all the smoke goes!!! It s better than the Grill-2-Go, even helps in the flavor dept, but it also gets the vote.... [: (]

What I utilize now is a Coleman Grill-N-Griddle. While it doesn t do anything for the flavor, it s small in size yet has large cooking surface, easy to clean, stores inside the cabinet under the sink on the bottom shelf, grease cup easy to clean, and doesn t flame up, also plugs right into the LP gas line! Vote on this is... [:D][:D][:D]
