RE: Cooler temps in the not so distant future

I heard the weather report for south Louisiana for this upcoming weekend may have temps in the upper 60 s at night and upper 80 s during the day with less humidity. Yippie our first cold front. Break out the fleece and throw another log on the fire.

I can t wait until fall I love the season and hate all this heat and rain we have been having.... Plus it is nice to sit by a camp fire and actually enjoy it s warmth[]

I agree, I love fall and spring camping.  Keep a nice fire going and enjoy it.  Plus, I sleep much better when it is cool/cold.  So, give me cold weather and another blanket.

Our 7 day forcast has temps in the mid to upper 70 s, but rain at least the next several days.

We now have cooler temps, it was a high of 72 degrees, about 30 degrees cooler than this time last week. The torrential rain storms that have covered most of our state were very welcome, with the exceptions of people getting caught in flash floods and the accidents that the rain caused.
 
 Now we will probably pay dearly as it will likely get back up to the 90 s and we will have the wonderful humidity. [8D]

We were blessed with cool temps this labor day in the NC mountians.  It was even too cool to go swimming!  It would get into the low 60 s at night & no more than mid 70 s during the day.  I cannot wait to go again.

Hmmm, the other end of NC in Cape Hatteras was a real brioler! Though temps seemed to stay under the 90§ mark, it was very humid. I can t complain though, we had wonderful sunshine ALL weekend long, great beach weather... just ask the kids, they are sun-burnt really well (I forgot to apply the sunblock on the first day at the beach, they paid for it the rest of the weekend)....
 
 I ll be glad to see cooler temps come rolling through, but looks like it won t happen for a few days yet!
