pirpcamperI only told them that I was a member with PUT and my user name and got my discount.

The coupon code for Arvee Club Members is ARVEE872KY for the store.

pirpcamperYou can even email Bob at Popupgizmos popup@ev1.net for a price and let him know that you are PUT member & your screen name.  He will email you back w/ your price including the discount & shipping, also here is his website in case you didn  t have http://www.popupgizmos.com/ [:D]

pirpcamperI highly recommend Bob AND the solar panels at PopUpGizmos! I decided to order the solar panels back in May about 10 days or so before we were scheduled to leave for Charlotte. I saw the estimated 3 week delivery time and figured there was no way to get them in time since PopUpGizmos doesn t take credit cards. However, I e-mailed Bob and asked if it would be possible to get the panels before we left. I even offered to pay extra shipping if necessary. I received a very prompt, courteous reply saying he d be glad to speed things up a bit if I needed them in a hurry. Fortunately, my Coleman Utah is one that he has the measurements for and already has the panels made. He had my panels ready and waiting so he could ship them out as soon as my check arrived. They got here in plenty of time. (And I got my PUT discount, and he didn t charge me any additional shipping!)

And, of course, it turned cool and rainy right after we got to Charlotte, so I never got to find out how well they cooled! LOL!

I found out in August, though. We camped at Bristol for five days for the races, and it was the hottest weather we ve had all summer. The campground did not have hookups, so we couldn t use the AC. (I have a generator, but it doesn t handle the AC too well--we mostly used the " FAN"  setting.)

Whenever you stepped into the PU from outside, even without the fan on, you could feel a noticeable drop in the temperature. You would think that, with all the windows unzipped, the temps inside would be pretty much the same as outside...maybe even warmer since the PU is more of an enclosed space. But, we all noticed the slightly cooler temps inside! I definitely vouch for the solar covers, and the great customer service from PopUpGizmos!

 pirpcamperHi Everyone,

OK, not trying to spam the group but since this thread is already going concerning discounts....

For all PUT members, I am putting the PopupGizmos  Solar Covers on sale. Sale price is $54.95 for 2 cover sets and $64.95 for 3 cover sets (slide-outs). That s $10.00 off the regular price.

The sale price will be on until we run out of our present roll of material. I estimate we have enough material on hand for about 25 sets, give or take.

Hope that helps with the discount question.

 Thanks,
