RE: Water in Awning Poles

      Every time I took down after a rain, I noticed water would run out of the awning poles when I folded them up into the framing.  I took care of this by drilling a 1/4"  hole in the pole just above the black plastic cap. (about 3/4"  from the bottom.)  Hope this tip helps.

Ours has the little holes already... but it came with these little metal loops to put in them to help with the steaks to hold it down??
