 labontefanHowdy, I had a post about how many cranks it takes to raise the roof and
 it  s gone, I e-mailed Steve to see if there was a glitch but haven t heard anything yet. Haven t checked my e-mail s we ve been camping[:)]. I was thinking maybe it had to do with the subject starting with a # since mine started with a 5, who knows just hope it isn t a problem

 labontefanYes, I noticed at least 2 posts got zapped.  The one for 55 1/2 cranks and the one about the best parts website.
 
 Also, I subscribe to quite a few topics and I had the notices in my mailbox when the site went down.  After the site came back up, I went to check the posts of these topics and I was directed to some other topic -- ie  one of the notices connected me to a subject for the Conn. group.  Other were just " other topics"  that I did not subscribe to[:@]
 
 And I thought it was just me[;)]

 labontefanThere is some weird stuff happening.
 
 I had no problems before the shutdown, and everything works fine EXCEPT the " Thoughts on first camper"  thread.
 
 When I open that thread I get blank messages and if I try to reply I get botted back to the main website and logged out.
 
 So something is still goofy, besides me.

 labontefanThe forum was backed up just before it was shut down in the attempt to udgrade the software.  It is possible that a few posts were made after this backup was made.
 
 When problems arose with the new software, the backup was restored - thus those few posts may be " missing" .  This was in no way an attempt at censorship.
 
 Jeffrey, we know there are still issues.  That is the reason we wanted to upgrade to the new software.  Hopefully whe we do get the new software running the issues will go away.

 labontefanI was only kidding about the censorship thing...both topics were pretty tame! Several people had replied to the one I posted about the Bristol campground, but I had just posted the one about camping around Williamsburg. Both were posted shortly before the board went down, so I guess they just got missed in the backup. No big deal...just curious!

 I guess I m just overly careful sometimes,  I have been accused of censorship in the past.
 
 All I can say is thanks to everyone for understanding when we had our issues.
