I just found a spray cleaner called InstaGone that does a great job on mold and mildew. I tested it on my camper and it got rid of the mildew stains and grime that the PUT cleaner missed.  It has a bleach smell so I d only recommend it for heavy duty cleaning. I still use the PUT cleaner for general puipose cleaning, it s like 409 or Fantastic.
 
 I ll have the InstaGone in the store soon.

 Nothing beats PUT s awning cleaner! When we openend our AAR this past spring,  finding it hard & mildewed beyond belief, I was going to throw it away. I tried all the regular cleaners & nothing worked. I had bought a bottle of the PUT cleaner, when it was first introduced, to use on the awning & decided to try it on the AAR. Eureka!! It not only cleaned off all the mildew but left the plastic soft & smelling like it was new. The $10 bottle saved me $500 so I bought some more! Used it occasionally on the awning and AAR when we had leaf problems.
 
 This summer we had the trailer setup in rain & humidity for over three months and our awning & the outside of the AAR has mildewed again. I ran out of the cleaner 1/2 way through cleaning them & the campground is due to close on the 15th!
 
 So, if you say the new stuff is better, I ll be the first one in line to buy a few bottles. (You can never tell when you might need a bottle or two! [])
