RE: Sucessful gathering despite the rain

fivegonefishingGLPUC had an outing April 2002. It poured and we just put all the tarps together between trees and a few down the side to keep the rain from coming in from the side. It made it very cozy and everyone had a great time.

Our family had a blast and what a way to end a great camping season. Unfortunately it was the only trip we had to pack down wet this year!! So I get to spend the next day or so drying it all out and cleaning for it hibernation. [

Birol, I believe I did post about the gathering a few times on PUT, we planned it about 5 months. I think I did invite you, if I didn t I truly appoligise, it was not intentional. I not sure if you even had the MOAT when we started to plan it.

Most of the communication happens on eiher IRV2 or PUX, both have active Canadian forums. Now that you re getting the pop up and will be able to stay dry and warm, join us for the 2004 Spring get-together. We re not sure where or when yet, we re considering East of Toronto sometime in May. Have a look and let us know if you could make it.

Oh, no need to apologize, ou probably told me but with the tent, I don t think I would be able to go in fall. I am reading the PUX a lot these days .. I think the spring get together looks good

fivegonefishingIt was a great weekend, we had a lot of fun! So many " old friends" and lots of new faces. That huge tarp did save the day. It was the funniest thing. It was so big it kind of had a life of it s own. It breathed and moved up down with the wind.

I encourge all American s to cross the border and enjoy some Canadian camping and friends it has really been a great thing for our family.

I hope now that you will have a PU you ll join us along with the rest of your family and then you get to get a really neat sign just like the rest of us [

]. I think my girls actually get more excited then me about these trips. The kids kind of do their own thing and everyone watches out for them all. Its a great family time.

Yeah after posting that I remembered it ... but it was too late. And yup, we will be at the events starting this spring , as long as we can make them.
