We bought a used pop-up this past weekend. It is an '81 Coleman Sequoia (priced so I couldn't refuse). Box is in real good shape, tenting been re-sewn within the past year. We are very excited! Already spent the night in it with our little one in the back yard Saturday (rained on Sunday A.M. so I got to check for leaks, none). We are headed for the campground this weekend!

Congratulations on the popup purchase.  I am sure you are busy outfitting it for the trip ahead, making lists, visiting wallymart, etc.  Let us know how the camping trip goes.  Have fun.

Congratulations, you will now have a great time finding things to pack in your new PU. And you will find ideas on this board for things to fix or upgrade what you do have. Good Luck..

Great to hear about your "new to you" PU.   I hope that you have all kinds of fun and adventure in it, and it gives you lots of good memories to talk about in the future.

We live in Mississippi. Year round camping for the most part (January & February may be too cold). We just got back from a weekend trip. Will post more with links to pics tomorrow. Also post a campground review.

Hi 4S2C, our first popup was a used one, too, and also in good shape.  (You'll find that many of us here started out with popups that were not brand new)  We have a new one now, hardsided but still a popup, it has all the bells and whistles.  But guess what we've discovered?  We like the new, fancy one a lot but we dont LOVE it the way we did our old Skamper.  You will make  such wonderful family  memories in your new popup home that nothing will ever replace it in your heart.

Happy camping and  may all your trails be happy  ones. :W
