Kid's Camp Set @ Target

Just bought a Kids Camp Set @ Target for $14.99. Includes tent, sleeping bag, chair, flashlight, and compass. Something to put under the Christmas tree for our little one.

They also had a little camp set that had a flashlight/radio and some other little camping things for kids for $10. I picked one up for DD.

Can this really be used outdoors for camping?  Or, is it strictly for playing indoors?
