I bought a new Coleman Cheyenne in August of 2002. When I picked it up from the dealer I found a cracked rear end cap. Looked like stress cracks. Took 6 weeks to get a replacement from Coleman. Then today I noticed the front endcap is cracked and gapped open about 1/4 inch and the trunk had water in the floor. I hope it does not take 6 weeks this time. Has anyone else had problems like this?

YellowXterraIf I remember corectly Coleman had a bad batch of front/rear ABS panels.  Apparently the screw holes were drilled the wrong size and when attached to the pop up they began to split at the hole.

YellowXterraI can t speak to the cracked end caps.

As far as it taking six weeks...that is more likely a dealer problem.  Our dealer, which has an excellent reputation, can t change a tire without four weeks notice.  Not because they are of poor quality, but because they are that busy.

It s far worse in the first part of the season because anybody and everybody wants their unit de-winterized, and that s when all the winter show sales start being delivered and they all require dealer prep. (They do pop-ups to class-A s.)

YellowXterraIn the year we owned our Niagara we have no problems with it at all, would have bought another Coleman if they made a Hybrid with canvas bunks.  I found the quality and our local dealer top notch.  I am with Austin on this one, sounds like it might be the dealer a bit in your case as far as time.  Any mass production is bound to have some problems, just hope they fix it right and quick for you.

Y-GuyIn Case you have not notice, Coleman has changed the top again on the new 2003.

I was aware of the change from ABS to the new Alumitite roof, but is this ANOTHER change?

brainpauseNot sure what you have seen or heard ? My new Coleman top is all differant from the 2002 Model. It also has the supports on it from the factory. Looking it over this past week in the storage yard, I must say I am pleased so far. I have seen no problems yet. It is like a metailic look to it.
