We have closed on our new house today ! Already carried the matresses and some medium stuff to save on relocation costs. We will sleep in our new house today and initiate it

Thanks to all PUT members who encouraged us throught the process and shared the ups and downs of the whole process !

I expect to be offline for a day while the cable connection gets switched to the new house ! Since I am not posting much these days anyways, I doubt anyone will notice  :rolleyes:    :p  :J  :J

Birol, congratulations!  I KNEW you could do it!  Even when the going got rough, all of us believed you would emerge VICTORIOUS!!  Get that cable hooked up fast--we miss you already!!!!!!

You might tell the cable people that if they dont cooperate fully and rapidly, they can expect their business centre to be mobbed very quickly  by autos, many with US tags, towing   odd looking rectanglular vehicles  on wheels  decorated with PUT bumper stickers.  Said parade will be tieing up traffic and making a loud and general nuisance honking horns and  shouting  "greetings" until you are happy with your new connection.  All of this will be accompanied by the cooking of Smores directly in front of the main entrance and  the  bending of elbows whilst our  merry group samples  some La Batts and other adult beverages too numerous to mention.

I am beat, I am dead, I am tired  :eek:  :eek:  :eek:  Still too much stuff to move and I am about to die ........Never realized we have this much stuff in the house. I keep moving they keep multiplying ! Third day into the move, and second floor is almost finished, we have some loose stuff and clothing, to be done today hopefully. Then the basement, Tons of boxes ....... Friday they cut the internet and connect it to the new house. I think I will be offline Friday and Saturday    oh well, not that I am online much anymore anyways.

So, if anybody wants to pop-over and help me, I will give them a mini keg of beer I have a few and I can't drink anymore, I think is is  fair exchange against manual labor

Poor Birol, I'd help if I could!  The people who came over to help me were a God-sent!  I never would have gotten moved on one day without thier help.  You can do it!!  I remember sleeping so deeply after we moved, I never thought I could sleep like that!

I sleep like a log every night ..... 10:30 pm or so, and as soon as I sleep I open my eyes and it is morning already ! 4 more days of this and we are hopefully done. I hope it will be worth the money we saved.
