New freash water tank added

Added a new freash water tank today.  It replaced the 5 gallon tank my Jayco came with.  Once I added my Shurflo pump, I found out quickly I needed a new tank.  The tank is 10 gallon & I added an external water fill outlet & a drain valve.  That way I can add & empty water without removing the tank.  I hope to have pictures up soon.  We are expecting snow (or ice) tonight, so I had to work fast to get the camper down.

It sounds like a good idea.  Where did you install the tank?

It fit under the galley.  This is the same space where the portable 5gallon tank went.  The only down side to this is that the larger tank and extra hoses prevent me from storing my dish pan/drying tray in there too.

We have a good layer of snow & ice on the camper now.  I fininshed the installation & closed the camper up just as it was begining to fall.  I hope I can pop it up soon & test the fill & empty procedures.  I will take some photos then & get them on my webphoto site.
