It's that time again when we make resolutions for the New Year.  I have made several but the one that stands out in my mind the most is to save more money for future retirement.  Oh yes, the typical ones to lose a specific amount of weight, eat healthier, and to organize the closets better are on the list.

Post your resolutions.  There are probably some who have much more interesting resolutions than mine.

Well, last January I decided it was time to lose some weight. With all that's happened in the last few years (lot of deaths amoung family and friends), I decided I needed to be healthier. Plus I was just tired of being overweight, not feeling good, and none of my clothes fitting. So in January of 2003, I joined Weight Watchers. As of the beginning of December I had lost almost 55 pounds. I sorta fell off the wagon the week before and after Christmas, but I decided to start my New Year's resolutions early. Today I went back on the WW plan, and intend to stay there. I hope by this time next year, I can at least match my 2003 weight loss!

I also want to rearrange the house and make it "mine". Haven't really made any changes since my mom died, thought about moving, but haven't been able to find a house that has all the features I want--except this one! So I'm going to start cleaning out closests, rearranging furniture, etc., to keep myself busy till it's time to go camping.

I guess those are my two main "resolutions" for the New Year.

To do more camping in 2004!!!![/SIZE]

I don't think I ever made this resolution before, but I definatly want to get healthy!  Exercise was pretty hard in our old house - no privacy, room, etc!  But now I was use the whole playroom downstairs, and all the boys go to school!  I also am starting violin lessons next week!  And maybe, this summer, I was to take classes in pre-Law.  Nothing full-force,  I can't with four kids!  But I can take some here and there to prepare for the future!  And I have to put in gardens in our new house!  At our old house we had gardens everywhere.  Every Spring it was like saying Hello to old friends!  Here you can see that before the wife died, she had planted lots of things, but then they became so overgrown and lots died out.  I brought all our rosebushes from our old house, and I can't wait to get more!  Hurry up Spring!!

My resolution is to change the employment situation I've been stuck in for the last ten years! The company is going down hill, my pay has regressed over the last 2 years, and it's been a horrible company to work for since the beginning, time to put that job behind me!

Good news is, I think I've hooked up with something really good, I'm suppose to meet up with them on Saturday morning and check out their operation. I guess Jan 3rd is about as good as it get's to resolving the situation! :D

Cliff, getting out of a rut is a good resolution.  Go ahead and make that change for the better and for more money.:)
