Dutch oven chicken and rice

I made this at our last SC Campers campout and everyone liked it.
 
1 1/2-2 lbs boneless chicken breasts cut into chunks
2-3 Tblsps oil
2-11 oz boxes chicken flavored Rice a Roni
butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
1-2 cups chowmein noodles
 
 
Heat oil in 12 inch DO.  When hot, brown chicken till almost cooked through.  Remove chicken to plate.  
 
Then melt butter in DO.  Cook Rice a Roni according to package directions.
 
When most of liquid is absorbed into rice, add chicken back in.  Stir in cream of chicken soup and heat through.  When heated, stir in sour cream.  Top with chowmein noodles.  Cover and cook a few minutes more.
 
I also make this at home on the stove top.  After I add the chowmein noodles I bake it for 15-20  @ 350 to make sure it is heated through.  
 
My kids and husband devour it.
