Well, as I sat here reading my latest Camping Life magazine something jumped out at me.  Where is the information for pop ups.  I have seen comments before that other magazines don't cater to our unique needs but for some reason this jumped out at me.

So, I had to take note.

In a 96 page magazine there were 6 pages with direct pop up information; all ads.  They were:

2 pages Fleetwood Folding Trailers
1 page Jayco
1 page Trailmanor
2/3 page Starcraft
1/2 page Aliner

Now granted many of the other ads are "general camping related" and cross over to pop up camping.

Maybe we need to let some of these other advertisers know there is a publication out here for pop uppers :W

Did you catch the survey, page 63 I think?  I filled mine out but have not sent it yet.  That might be one way to let them know we are out there!

I just noticed i missed a 1/4 page ad for Chalet, 1/8 page ad for Canvas replacements and a 1/4 page ad for Formost Insurance directed at "tent campers".


I'm really not wondering why CL dosn't have more pop up info, I'm wondering why more of these advertisers don't look to PUT :confused:

There are a bunch of ads which I think would interest our readers.  Some examples:

When was the last time you saw someone drycamping in a Class A?  But there are ads for portable Honda generators and replacement florescent lights.

Camping World, KOA, Cedar Point, Reserve America and several states must not think we spend money :Z
