We are  interested in using a GPS to  find and mark the corners of our hunting property (four forties).  It seems all we would need is an accurate starting point.  My question is, who do we contact to get the coordinates of one of the corners?

There should be a corner marked on your property deed or recorded at your county courthouse.  GPSs are not 100% accurate.  If you want something that will be legal you will need to hire a surveyor. :)

DH uses his GPS for work and LOVES it!  He says it's like his right arm - never leaves without it!  Also good for hiking because you can "mark" on it where you've started from and it will bring you back easily.  They are not 100% accurate, but DH's brings him within 3 feet of his destination every time.
