Heard him on the radio all day!! I think it is awesome!! Especially when they played "Sunspot Baby" and "Come to Papa". Two of my most favorite!! Happy Bob Segar Day to all!!

Can't believe that NightOwl hasn't seen this thread!!!    She'll be absolutely thrilled, as Seger is her all time fav Rock and Roll man.  Come to think of it, I think he's pretty great too!

WHAAAAATTT?  No one even MENTIONS the most wonderful song ever written-sung-played in this century--"Roll Me Away"?!! :Z

I knocked off 20 pounds in 2 months treadmilling to "Roll Me Away"!  

As a fomer Michigander and a  Forever Wolverine, this is great news for me.  Actually, Bob is truly deserving of his own day ALL OVER THE U.S. :S :S  

Lots of these so-called musicians today (the teeny boppers of both sexes with the long  unisex hairdo's and  pierced navels)  dont even know what good music is or how to carry a tune, let alone   tell a story or express deep, true emotion with a song like the "old ones"  including  people like Willie and Waylon, Kris and Johnny and  Lyle and Mick.   Or the Beatles, of course.   Talk about The Golden Age of Music!!

As another former Michigander and Forever Wolverine, I say,"way to go Bob"!  I was surprised that no one mentioned Old Time Rock and Roll as their favorite song.

We saw Bog Seger's boat, Night Moves, after the Port Huron to Mackinac race a few years ago and it's awesome.  Too bad we didn't see Bob, too!

Had to sit in the car before going into to work so I could finish listening to Night Moves.  Love that acoustic guitar work in that song.
