Oh for Pete's sake!!!

Can you believe it, I started feeling yucky yesterday, woke up this moring with my head feeling like a block, coughing and exhausted!!  This is my first holiday in almost seven years where I'm not cooking the dinner, my mom is hosting this year and now I don't think I'll even be able to go!!  Got up to watch the kids hunt for their chocolate eggs and baskets, hubby made breakfast, then they all got dressed up and have gone off to church services without me  

I've taken my Advil had a cup of tea, have my own box of Kleenex, I'm hanging out on the sofa and I can't even find Easter Parade on the toob with Judy Garland...actually I can't find any Easter movies on at all...what's with that?

Hubby got me a beautiful Easter basket (remember my vacation!!) it was filled with goodies and gals have you seen this "Mr. Wonderful" doll...squeeze his hand and he says all the right things like  "here you take the remote as long as I'm with you I don't care what we watch", You know honey why don't you just relax and let me make dinner tonight",  "ahhh can't your mother stay another week", the ballgame really isn't that important I'd rather spend time with you", Actually I'm not sure which way to go, I'll turn in here and ask directions"!!!!   Isn't that too funny!!  He's my little mascot now.

Anyway I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter holiday with your family.  Mine should be back soon...I'm hoping I can make it to dinner with everyone tonight!!!  It was hard enough watching them all go out to church all spiffed up and me waving goodbye with my tissues and so attractive cough!!!!!!!!!!!  I have a feeling my mom would rather they bring dinner home to me...can't blame her...but I want to be with everyone!!!!!  yes yes I'm whining..................

I don't even feel well enough to raid the kids baskets and eat their Nestle Crunch chocolate eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Oh well there's always tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got over the sinus and throat stuff with a round of antibiotics and amazing that I was feeling better in 3 days after dragging around for a month running on about 4 cylinders instead of 8.

Camperoo, are you feeling little bit better ? DW wasn't feeling well on Sunday after we reorganized the garage almost all day. We were out from 10 am to 3 pm, and re-packed everything and created enough sapce in the garage to keep the windstar in. But she got a horrible cold, shivering and stuff. Two aspirins, lots of how liquids and she went to bed early. Luckily, she recovered late yesterday ....

Birol, it could have been a little dust or an allergy to something she was moving around.  Maybe she was just tired on top of all that.  Sometimes a little nap is the best thing to rejuvenate.

it sure was a quiet Easter!!  finally feeling better today, now my DH is starting to get it!!  oops!!!!!!!!!!!
