We are taking a trip to Idyllwild next weekend (October 1).  It's a thousand trails camp ground.  We are going with friends who are memebers.  Does anyone know how this works with non-members.  Just a little unsure and uneasy about "just showing up" and not being a member.  It's about a 3 hr drive for us.  A little hard to go back home if there are no spaces.

And, how is the park?

Thanks for info

If they are hosting you then all you need to do is give your name at the gate. If not then you should have had to make your own reservations for a free weekend and sit through a sales pitch.
The best thing to do is contact you friends and see what is up.
As far as spaces the only preserve that is usually full is the one in Vegas.
I can't tell you anything about the preserve as we have not been there.
If you go to the Thousand Trails web site all the info on the preserve will be there.

Thanks Sal.
We did get "kinda" that info from our friends.  But, they are unsure also having never hosted a non member before.  Thanks for your input, it helped!
