The new picture taken by the satellite show a "thing" which looks suspiciously like Noah's Ark. An american research team is heading that way to check it out !

well, if you want a story about a 'TURKEY"  (and a very dumb bird at that)  and Turley  AND The Ark, listen up!  I was the unfortunate viewer sometime in the last year of the following example of the worst kind of "turkeyism"

Was watching the Fox News channel (the main one with all the talking heads, not the one we have locally in Atlanta)

And a very pretty female news reader said the following:  " a team of scholars has determined that the resting site of the Biblical Ark is on Mt Arafat in Turkey."

I said to myself, Oh, boy--this girls is about to get her head  handed to her!  Wrong!  A bit later, they ran her clip again. No corections.

So I said to myself, oh well, she is just a dumb, pretty face and doesnt know anything about Turkey, the Bible or The Ark!  But what was  most amazing was that later in the day A SERIOUS MALE NEWS PERSON repeated her line about "Mt Arafat."  I NEVER heard anyone mention MT ARARAT! :(  (And it isnt just Fox who does these things--they all do!)

No wonder American children are famous worldwide for having the knowledge level of morons when it comes to Geography and History.

Acts 2:38 girl

Actually, they have known it's been up there for years, people have even been up there on it.  But explorers have to wait for an unseasonable warm summer before it melts enough ice to see it well.  I hope they see it this summer.  Turkey sways back and forth in letting people up there, it's pretty hostile in some of the upper regions.

Of course, not the section our wonderful, friendly, courteous friend Birol is from! :!

I think Birol, coming to FL and baking in the sun may be a bad idea.  Makes me think of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer bakes himself in the sun on the roof, all slathered with butter, and then Newman starts think of him as food!

Planes flying over the area confirmed that the object is shaped like a boat/ship whatever ....... This is getting interesting !
