So my pu is brand new and still broken.  I heard from the dealer today that they will try to get the part in by the end of the week and hopefully have it fixed by next weekend.  So much for my three day weekend this weekend

Just venting.  Thanks for listening or not

Go in there and tell them  to give you a rental at no cost !  This is simply unacceptable !!!!!!!

With our new PU, we had a few issues, luckily we were able to wait until the winter and we took to the dealership.  It took them 10 weeks to get it back to us, one was the canvas had a small tear (we duct taped it), they had to order a new one, I called (8am) after 9 weeks and 5 minutes after I called, the parts department called back and said the awning just came in TODAY (sounds too co-incidental that is comes in within 5 minutes of when I called that it was just received).  I feel it came in and someone put it aside to do other work.
 
Stay on top of the dealership and keep them checking on the part.
