Well - it's home and it sure is pretty - it made it up the our driveway no problem - we have a serious pitch on our steep steep driveway  and we live off a narrow road - however, by the grace of God the town re-graded the bottom (turn in area ) of our driveway - widened it as well -  made all the difference.  The rear of the trailer was what I was worried about dragging as we pulled it up - but when we got the camper with the dual cam 800# bars on a weight dist hitch - I realized that that set-up was actually much lower to the ground (less then 6")  - so I sweated that until we got it home.  I jumped out of the truck to let DH know if it was going to clear and IT DID!!  I Yippee yahooed all the way up as I ran up the driveway (pure adreneline) behind the rig!!
We intended to flush the winterizing system when we got home but could'nt as there was a huge influx of friends stopping by who had seen us taking it home!!!  Nice to have great friends - actually more showed up for the camper than for the birth of my first born!!!
I am so excited - I will be putting a dig pic on the puter for you all to see as soon as I can figure out how to....have faith - I'll keep at it until I do it right.
We were at the dealers from 11 a.m. until past 3 in the afternoon with an hour ride ahead of us - some of the details we had agreed on were missing in this camper - so I had to step up and make myself heard - it worked out in the end.  Our salesguy had quit - before the trailer even came in - but before he left he let me know that the industry was having trouble getting ovens because the oven thermastat company  who handles all the RV companies in the nation had moved to Mexico, shut down their US plants and then folded.  Keystone RV was putting their finger in the dike by offering a convection microwave combo instead of the oven - well when we saw our trailer it only had a microwave - Keystone has since stopped this offer so the owner of the dealership had no idea I knew about the fiasco - but when I let him know our deal was verbally made between our salesguy and myself - they gave us an option -- a white micro-convection oven that they have will be brought to my house and custom fitted for my camping pleasure....I have no gripe on the color - even though the stove top is black - I'm not terribly worried - just glad to know they agreed to appease me....I felt bad pushing the guy up against a wall - but a deal is a deal - and had I not been informed - I'd only have a microwave and a stove top - not what I wanted.......
We flushed the system yesterday - and now I am getting my thoughts organized on where to store everything.....
Just had to share with you guys - I know you will forgive me for moving to the dark side- and if we ever cross paths - I'll even put you up for a night.  I'll even take out my gas powered blender and whip us up some delightful adult libation!!!  After all - we'll be celebrating forever!

Congratulations ! It sounds so fantastic ! I wish you many happy camping days/weeks in it !

Hi Beth!  Glad to hear it made it to it's new home ok!  I'll bet you are so excited!

It doesn't surprise me that you finally got them to follow through with the conv/micro combo.  Anybody else, they could have gotten away with not following through but not with you, the  little irish spit-fire you are!

If you send me some digital pics of the new digs, I can get them attached here for you.  It's not that hard... just need to resize them so they fit within the requirements.

Congrats on your new "baby"!  Where's the first trip?

Wish I could be there to christen it with the blender drinks... Butterballs would be great too!

Hilarious that the camper got more visits than your firstborn.  :D I will someday be crossing to the dark side and hope it is not in the too distant future.  My old bones make it difficult to set up a popup and the new Mr. B-flat doesn't want to throw a kink in his back either.  So I see and new TV and TT in the near future.  Have fun with your new rig!

What ever you do, make sure that Birol gets first chance at scooping yours up for himself.  Otherwise, he may totally lose it on you!

Sounds great will you now be changing you name????TO TTNUT???:)

Popupnut

Hi guys!  Thanks for the good wishes!!
I will be keeping my name - as this is where it all started - with Pop-ups and I am a nut....if you ever met me - you'd agree that the name fits!
If I ever decide to change the name - I'll bring it to the board and the one with the catchiest nickname for me will get the honors....

I am also a nut-free baker and my nickname in that arena is
 are you ready for this?
                   "Bethie-No-Nuts"

It's a real chuckle at the Church Bake Sale - and boy do I ever get the looks!   All in good humor of course!

I can hear the blender whipping up those Grita's Now Momma Mia - and the Butterballs taste better frozen too!!!!!  I think it may have been the Irish tact that convinced the dealer - It didn't take much.  But it goes to show you - it pays to be in "the know"!  Another big plus to having this board!!

Thanks again guys!  You're the best!
