I figured out why and how I am all of a sudden able to purchase a PU ! This is not something I couldn't have done earlier  at this cost ! But do you want to know why ?

I received my first issue of PUT recently, AND, it came with TWO PUT STICKERS AND A KEY CHAIN ! I said to myself, now I really need a PU to stick these sticker ! AND in no time at all I was able to find and puchase this PU !!!

So, thanks Dave All I needed was the PUT stickers

So many are pulling for you here at PUT and having the mag makes it even more special and meaningful.  Now, I want you to think about writing an article for the magazine.  Remember that Dave offers some $$$ for any article published.  That could help offset the expense of the popup and earn some camping.  How about an article on the do and don'ts of buying a popup and transporting it across state lines, the registration process, etc?

I think I am half an expert on that now ! I might just do that actually It would come in handy for Canadian folks !

You could set up a website with links to everything you have found out about and also just a general list of do's and don't's and NOT BUY IN MA!!! :eyecrazy: (with all the trouble you had).

THAT'S IT???  Birol FINALLY gets a popup and there are no fireworks icons or dancing PUs?  You guys are slipping.

I went back to see if the "story" was elsewhere and am assuming that he got the one that gone-camping referred him to (or had he already seen it?).

Gosh, this is wonderful...remember way back when when a bunch of PUT'ers donated a tent and other camping gear to Birol and his family.  The photos were wonderful.

OK, now we have to wait for the pictures, Birol.  Congratulations.

Gosh, this was confusing and time consuming but I did find a bunch of other posts regarding Birol's acquisition spread out all over the place..in General and at the Campfire, so I think I have it fairly straight.  I also saw the photos.  Plus I emailed Birol privately.

I also suggested The Casbah as a possibility.

I checked the dictionary and it says:
A castle or palace in northern Africa.

If I were Dave I would print this thread in the magazine ! It is quite interesting to see the friendship, the excitement the feeling of achieving the goal at last followed by heartfelt congratulations ! PUT made that possible !  What do you think Dave ? Here is a free article for you

It's been a long time watching Birol get close, then not able to close the deal for one reason or another.
 
Its a great time and that PU is in the hands of the best person in the world!!!  I'm sure that it will be cherished and polished and taken care of greatly.
