How do you pack the bearings?

Or whatever they are in the middle of the wheels?  My DH is not into this maintenance thing, so I guess I need to learn.  

Can anyone give me a step by step instructions, including tool list needed to do the job?  Plus the supply list.  We have a 2001 Coleman Niagara with slide.

No special tools required but a seal puller makes it easier.  It costs less than $5.00 and will save you some aggravation.  Make sure you always replace the seals when you repack the bearings.  The guy at the parts store will show you how to pack the bearings with grease.

I might show you how with out actually using the grease. Don't know about your parts store but I'm not getting my hands greasy for a demonstation. I would try to sell you a bearing packer, grease gun and a tube of grease.

Yep, the bearing packer & grease gun is the only way to go!
 
Most mfg's say re-pack once every year or 10k of driving

Which reminds me, I need to find the packer and the greaser here in canada. I bet it will be ten times more expensive then in US, and I will  :banghead: for not purchasing it when lee showed it to me.
