We bought our first PU.  Since we have been looking for a little over a year, it feels like it is about time.  We are very excited.  It is a new-to-us 1999 Niagara.  It is in pretty good shape.  Not perfect, but the price really helped for the cosmetic things that are not that major.

Of course we have a few concerns because it is used and you are never certain.  The people that we bought from said they never had problems with leaks, and I tend to believe them.  The roof seems to overhang slightly on both long sides.  I am not sure how bad that is, but we shall see.  Hopefully the price will make up for any issues it has.

We can't go camping this weekend, but we hope to take it out next weekend.  The weekend after that, we are meeting my parents for a weekend camping trip.  It will be nice to have a camper instead of the tent.  I am sure the kiddos will like it also.

Hopefully we will be able to join y'all in a rally very soon!!

Congratulations! I know you'll love your Niagra.

We bought a used '99 Bayside, and we love it. Our dear freinds, who were upgrading to a large travel trailer, were made a low trade in value on the PU. They offered it to us at the same price, and we snapped it up. We've been happy with it ever since.

If you had paid full, brand new price for you Niagra, it is likely those small cosmetic blemishes would have occured after the first outing or two, and you'd feel sick about it. Now, those same little things will seem like, "OH WELL, we bought it to use it, and enjoy it, and not be overly paranoid about it, and these things happen."

P.S.: if your trailer didn't come with the owner's manual, it is available free, on line, from Fleetwood, and is in PDF format. If you need a copy, let me know...

Congratulation on the new trailer.  My Nevada is also a 1999 and I have the owners manual if you have any questions I can answer.  I also have the cassette potty/shower combo that your trailer has. :)
