Rally fallout...It's so quiet here!

I can almost hear the crickets!

The folks at the rally are at my favorite time of day now while camping!  All the kids are tucked in bed (or at least they should be!) and a few folks are hanging around the campfire with some cold ones and chatting about anything and everything!  I can almost hear the crackling fire and feel the darkness at their backs as they sit in a circle reviewing the days events.  Sometimes it gets pretty quiet and more than one of them is gazing up at the sky, soaking in the beauty of the stars twinkling and winking at them from above.  Then someone invariably says something funny (and I bet it's Birol)and they all chuckle, their happy camper laughs spilling into the darkness.

Siiiighhhh... I'm so jealous!

Yea, but we are now back..  Too short!! We got back in about 10:30pm.. (we left about 3:30pm)  Bit of a ride, but I am glad we made it down. Our cabin was sweet, and we got the best day to go down.. Wet weather heading down & back.. I hope the campers are dry tonight!!

 
Oh Yea, I met Tracy's husband.. She told me to tell you all that he does exist!

Wow..I'm jealous too...I just hope the weather there has been better than around here! Some awful rains and flooding in intermittent spots around the DC and Baltimore areas. Lee, glad to hear you and Andrea had a good time! I can't wait to hear all about it and I hope folks got some good pictures. I really enjoyed looking at them last year.

Naaa, it is not me saying funny things, them americans do not mostly undersand my accent   So it is a real communication barrier ... I bet it is also one of the reasons why I can not finda  job .... I wonder if I always ahd such a bad accent or did it get wose for some reason .....

We had a campfire yesterday it was good,  DD was too tired so we left early, I am sure people stayed up really late !
