Hi Everyone,
I have been cruising the board, well ok lurking for a few days. My name is Deborah (37), I have a wonderful husband Ray (46) and an almost 4 yr. old son named Steven.

We have a 1976 Prowler Trailer, 19' and a 1991 Suburban too pull it with...anyway, I have been looking for a group too go camping with. Since we are kind of new too the whole experience, I had hoped too find others more experienced too go with and too make some new friends. We got the trailer and truck about a yr. ago thanks too my aunt but still have not gotten too use it. We have a weird schedule, my husband works 3rd shift and his days off are Mon. and Tues. since I am in Nursing school full-time and have clinicals those days, he has those days off too get our son too school. He is able too get weekend days off with advance notice and F,S,Su are my only free days. Our only other problem around here is cash, school is costly, we are living on just my husband's income, so we would like too find a group that does not base their decisions on us based on our cash flow, cause there is not alot. I only make this last statement because I contacted another group about joining and found that we did not own a new enough trailer too join, but would be welcomed when we got a newer trailer.

So, now that I have written way more than I intended, hope too meet you all in the future...

Thanks for reading,
Deborah in Lakewood, Ca.

Deborah,

We would love to have you join us.  There is no need to show your trailer registration or income tax return to join this group.  We own popups--and other trailers--so most of us our just one step above being ground dwellers.

Heck--we even have a couple who still TENT who join us.

Welcome aboard.

REALLY?  A group that says you HAVE to own a certain type year of trailer to join in?????  That is just too much.  Our group is based on being friendly folks who are totally non-exclusive so I hope you will hop on the wagon and join in on one of our rallies.  Welcome aboard!!!

This maybe because they stay in mostly Pricey RV parks and some have an age requirement so only the rich & snooty can attend.

Deborah ......WELCOME I think our only requirement is love camping and have fun!!.  just find a campout and sign up..

but you will have to sing the SCCamper anthem at the first campout :yikes: (just kidding)
 Hope we see ya soon

Hi Deborah, and welcome!  We're not really as alcoholic as we sound, but we certainly are as nutty and fun as we say we are.  Hope to meet you and your family at a rally!
