This has been great info.  Sorry I don't know all the abbreviations you use.  My wife and I have been looking at Hybrids upgrading from our '94 flagstaff we have had 3 years.  Our TV is a 96 Grand Cherokee with the I-6 4.0 liter.  We have seen many hybrids and have eliminated some.  We loved a 21 Starcraft with U dinette and 2nd dinette.  We were told it weighed about 2800 dry.  We also keep coming back to the trail-lite/trailcruser 19.  The difference between the two is confusing if any.  Third we saw today was a new "04 Jayco 19 that seemed loaded, AC, Microwave, furnace, great mattresses, double door fridge, stereo, good storage light/fan accessories for the bunks and privacy curtains, as well as a deep tub for the kids (16 months and 3 1/2 years).  the dealer is asking 14,900.  But.....it weighs about 3300 dry.  What do you think, is it too much for my Grand Cherokee, is the extra weight worth it?  We camp mostly within 200 miles of home but wouldn't rule out a florida trip in the future.  The toughest part about settling on a Hybrid was knowing we really will be stuck with a bigger tow vehicle, minivans are definately out.

looking for advice.

Folks,

I am getting closer to the "Dark Side". After a little talk this weekend, the wife has given the OK to start looking and pricing. Wow! I am shocked.. She likes what she sees. Less work!
