Yesterday as I was raising Finally in the garage to empty it out completely, I got the wiring get into the winch mechanism, and after a few turns while I was mumbling to myself, why is this thing so difficult to raise, I saw the cables in between the cable in the mechanism. One snapped, three badly messed up :(

So I ended up getting a small trailer wiring kit, and re-soldier the wires before the snapped/crushed point ! Of course my soldering points were nowhere near the same quaility with lee's and I could barely slide the heat shrinks over them. Still, this is one hurdle behind me now. I have to find a way to keep the wiring away from the winch when finally is parked !

Awh Geesh.. We just did those!! Brand new wire & all!! That has to stink.. Well, I guess you just have to drive down and I will just re-do it again!!  :eyecrazy:

I re-did them, had to buy a soldiering iron from walmart, but I did and fixed it. I need it to work for this weekend. I used to play with electronics when I was much younger, so it wasn't difficult at all, but I hated doing it because I caused it with my stupidty.

Don't tell me you missed us :):) :yikes:
