After over a year of ownership of our Jayco 14SO, we upgraded to the Jayco 25E. We loved our 14SO but after the multitude of problems with the surge braking system & figured if we are going to upgrade the hybrid is the way to go.
Our first outing went without a problem. Our children just loved the open feeling in this large camper (thought they were nuts since the 14SO is very large also) the nicest thing was the setup time being a snap. It was pouring rain when we arrived at the CG so we unhitched, lowered stablizers, & plugged up power, sat inside with the a/c and waited for the rain to stop before lowering the beds :-().
I tell you it was so wonderful to have a fullsize fridge, relax in the camper talking with fellow friends enjoying a cold beverage without all the hassle of cranking up and then an hour later trying to enjoy a good time after setup :!.

Thinks I like in the camper:
Beds with the cables are a snap & there is no need to insert poles
The storage is galore, I've never seen soooo much storage
The huge slideout
Skylight over the bathroom tub/shower

Things disapointed:
2005 Jayco shortened the awning to 16' from 17'
Jayco removed the left side storage compartment at the back.

Items unsure of:
Cables for the beds instead of the bed poles
Bed canvas snaps, unsure of the reliability of this method.

Items Needed:
Bath vent cover for traveling air & to prohibit rain
Something to stabilize the movement in the camper, maybe tandem wheels jacks or something of the nature.

If you use the wheel chocks that go between the two tires the movement will be almost eliminated. You can get them at Camping World or if your handy you can make a set. Mine cost me around $6 for some parts I didn't have laying around. Hope that helps.

I'm not even going to ask how you "tested" this feature,  or the need for it.......

Sounds like you made a good move into this hybrid.  After the saga with the 14 footer and all those brake issues,  it was time for some piece of mind for you while towing.  I'm sure that it will make camping all that much more fun for you without all the panic involved with towing that your used too.

So are you leveling the tandems with long 2 x 8's or something like that for now?  I'm assuming you have four corner stabilizers of some sort.  What are your options for stabilizing even better?

It must be nice to be able to set up without breaking out in a sweat,  imagine how many more beers you can drink now in the course of that extra two hours of camping you just gained.......

Had the opportunity to stop by and see Corey over the weekend, and it is really a nice trailer.

What he didn't tell you was they were swampy at their site and just before we got there, decided to switch sites and in about 20 minutes, close trailer, moved, and re-set up everything.  It sure was easy to move everything, PU would have been a bear to do.
