Well, we just got back from our first trip in the 05 Niagara.  Funny, with all the great campgrounds in Georgia we went to South Carolina.  We towed to Devil's Fork State Park, which for us is about 2 1/2 hours up I-85.

The park is located in northwestern South Carolina on the eastern edge of the Sumter National Forest, and sits on the banks of Lake Jacassee. The 622 acre park is one of the newest in South Carolina created in 1990.

Lake Jacassee was created in 1973 by the Duke Power Company for hydroelectric power generation. Three dams, Jacassee, Keowee, and Little River feed the 7,565 acre lake.  The park has 59 forested campsites, eight of which are directly on the shores of the lake.  All sites have paved pads, electrical and water hookups, a grill, fire rings and picnic tables.

Modern, heated, bathroom facilities with hot showers are conveniently located between the two campgrounds. Unusual in a state park, the bath house has laundry facilities.

I must say the new Niagara is a dream.  It is everything we wanted in a pop up!  Plenty of room for all of our stuff with space left over.  Some may say we are getting soft, but the microwave and oven are nice additions to camping.

Towing was wonderful, but remember what we tow with.  Not a hint of sway and it felt solid behind the truck.

Glad you had a great trip.  If you have the PU open could you do me a favor and measure the track for the shower curtain (width and length).  I am thinking of ordering the track, mounting hardware and rollers to modify my shower.  I have never liked the way the shower curtain is hung in my PU.  Does the shower curtain roll up and get snapped to the ceiling with the 2 nylon straps hanging by the window?  If not what are they for?  I really like you new PU. :eyecrazy:

Tim, Good luck with the new camper!

Although we haven't seen you in a while, it does sound like your getting soft. Did you get the optional glass door fridge for your wine?  :Y

No, we decided against the wine cooler option, but there is usually a bottle around.

It's going to take a longer tow to camp with you all again.  ;)

Tracy,

I'm in NY for a couple of weeks, but I will measure it when I get back.

Mine is hanging by something by the window, but I didn't look that close.  I think that a "full figure" person like me taking a shower in there would be like taking a shower in a baggie :yikes:

I use my shower which I think is a little smaller than yours, so you should be OK. :yikes:   That is why I want to check the dimensions of the shower track before I invest in the new hardware.  If the track is much bigger than my curtain rod it might inter with my privacy curtain.  Thanks for the help. :)
